The Devil May Cry 5 Missions have proved challenging to a lot of you and I can relate to that because I was having trouble with a couple of the missions as well. First, it was Mission 10 until I discovered the quirk to dealing with certain things on the level Secret Mission 7.

I’d even say I’ve had trouble with Mission 15 somewhat that is until I got to a part of the level that I knew I needed to be at to discover the secret that lie there. Here’s a hint, when you get the “Jet Gadget” tutorial on Mission 15 then you know you’re in the area to get the collectibles.

But, I come before you today to bring deliverance to and regarding Mission 16. Now, I’ve heard rumors, read and watched a video here and there saying that you have to go through Mission 16 a couple of times to get everything which is COMPLETELY FALSE!!!!!

There is a way to get everything in one go but you have to be resourceful if you’re going to make it happen but luckily, that’s why I’m here. In this post I’ll discuss the diverging paths to the collectibles, Secret Mission 12 and the Purple Orb Fragment, where to find the Blue Orb Fragment and the key to getting everything in one go.

So, let’s unravel this mystery by exploring the………..

Diverging Paths

There are few Devil May Cry 5 Missions where you’ll come across levels that have multiple paths to traverse in order to get to either the boss or the collectibles in the level. Mission 16 is a level in which there are diverging paths, if you’ve been on this level before then you know the collectibles are on two different paths on Mission 16 which means that you’ll have to figure out which take more precedence.

The misconception here is that you have to redo the level a couple of times in order to get all of the collectibles and you could make that work to your advantage if you were orb farming (which I don’t recommend) but getting all of the collectibles along the diverging paths is not a hardship especially if you know where to go.

If you watched videos on how to complete Mission 16, you may find yourself a little overwhelmed with trying to get everything on the level, I was overwhelmed when I first got here and was trying to figure out whether or not I wanted to go after the blue orb fragment first or the secret mission or the purple orb fragment, you have a choice and just so you know, about………..

Secret Mission 12 and the Purple Orb Fragment

Are in the same place! Many Devil May Cry 5 Missions don’t leave you without a clue of where to go if you’re making your way through the level like how you have to use Nightmare to break through the mural on Mission 4 to get the blue orb fragment there. On Mission 16, it’s a little different. You’ll get to what has been identified as the midpoint of the level and you’ll know where the midpoint is if you use the checkpoint option on the pause screen which I recommend.

Anyway, getting to the midpoint of the level, you’re going to see two paths, one leading straight down and one straight ahead. Now, I should warn you that if you’re looking to get Purple Orb Fragment and Secret Mission 12 then you’ll want to descend which means go straight down. Actually, it makes perfect sense to go after the two first.

I say that because you’re going to be doing a lot of hopping and trying to keep from falling off the thin catwalks and platform planks in order to reach both the Purple Orb Fragment and Secret Mission 12. Here’s another hint, Trickster style helps, a lot and just be careful that you don’t overstick your landings on the platforms because its too easy to fall off. Consider yourself warned!

The Blue Orb Fragment

If you used the checkpoint option on the pause menu, you’ll get transported back to the midpoint of the level with the diverging paths. Going after the Blue Orb Fragment requires that you use the Trickster style, the Sky Star move and use the Stinger to help you get across to the Blue Orb Fragment. The path to the Blue Orb Fragment lies straight ahead so instead of going down, go straight but again, use Trickster style and Sky Star to get to the pathway across.

Now, if you made the choice to go after the Blue Orb Fragment first, that’s cool because there is only one of them visibly on the stage so its okay if you want to make that your first “snatch” as it were. Personally, I left the Blue Orb Fragment for last because since there were 2 collectibles and a secret mission, I figured there was no reason to rush to get everything.

I’ll tell you right now, you’ll get a lot of orbs while traversing this level so don’t make it necessarily about running after the collectibles in a hurry, get the orbs you see around you too because last I checked, Dante’s weapons and Sin Devil Form still have moves available for purchase.

The Key, Checkpoint Option

What many of you playing through the Devil May Cry 5 Missions may not realize is that when you play the game or as you’re playing the game, you’re going to pause it for a minute or two or more. If you look on the left-hand side of the screen of the pause menu, you’re going to see the “Checkpoint Option”. When you make the choice to use the checkpoint option on the menu, you’re going to be sent back to the checkpoint part of the level i.e. the midpoint.

Do you know what that means, it means that you can make a mistake on a level like leaving a collectible behind a few rooms back and you can use the checkpoint option to rewind time on the level in order to collect everything that there is. On Mission 16, the checkpoint option is the key to getting everything on the level.

Simply, after you get the Blue Orb Fragment, use the checkpoint option to go back to the midpoint of the level then go down the “descendent” path for lack of a better term to get the Purple Orb Fragment and find Secret Mission 12. The Checkpoint option is the key to getting everything on Mission 16 without restarting the level.

Conclusion

The Devil May Cry 5 Missions maybe overwhelming for some of us gamers but Mission 16 is way more complicated than it might seem but Mission 16 isn’t complicated as long as you remember that to get the Blue Orb Fragment, go straight from the midpoint of the level and to get the Purple Orb Fragment and find Secret Mission 12, go down at the midpoint. Also, keep in mind too that the Checkpoint option is the key to getting everything in one go on Mission 16.

So have you been having trouble with Mission 16, how far have you gotten, have you collected all of the collectibles and found the secret mission? Leave me a message and I’ll respond immediately. Thank you and Happy gaming.

What Is the name of the game ? I do not play this particular game but , don’t laugh , I love candy crush. With that said candy crush has levels too . Some easy , some seem impossible . I definitely rate to you and the other gamers. It feels so good when you figure out how to beat and level and achieve that goal.

What does the blue orb do in the game? I understand you need it to beat level 16.How long have you been playing video games? What age did you start play video games? Do you remember the name? I checked out the videos and although the game too confusing for me it looks challenged and lots of fun. I’m sure this will help a few gamers pass level 16

The name of the game is Devil May Cry 5, a game that came out a little while ago. The Blue Orb, when you find 4 fragment to make a whole, will lengthen your life meter by 1. Technically, you don’t need all of the Blue and Purple Orbs to beat Mission 16 or even the whole game for that matter but getting them all does help. I’ve been playing video games since I was 9 years old, so for 30 years I’ve been beating games old and new. I consider myself a video game expert and professional based on my talent and my ability to conquer the rough spots in video games.
